Lee, Jeni

About the artist

The environments in which Jeni Lee has lived and traveled have become the foundation of who she is as a painter. From a childhood spent in the coastal Sonoma County countryside, to Idaho’s high mountain river valleys, to finding her home in the forests and the coastlines of the Northwest. Her emotive, atmospheric work captures the ways in which we experience our surroundings, from desert to forest to sea, evoking the luminescence of our natural world.

Jeni holds a Bachelor of Art in Painting and Printmaking from Portland State University and has attended artist residencies in the rich landscapes of Kauai, New Mexico, Oregon’s high desert, and the Vermont Studio Center. Her work is represented in residential and corporate collections including the University of Portland, the Oregon State Treasury, as well as hospitality and healthcare facilities nationwide, such as Kaiser Permanente and Legacy Health.

From her Portland, Oregon studio, Jeni works with private clients, designers and gallerists. She exhibits her work at regional galleries and art festivals throughout the year.
