“The encaustic pieces here are the result of a three year investigation into making paper encapsulated with collage. I discovered that the application of encaustic wax over the paper creates a window to see what lies between the sheets of paper. What a revelation and joy. I continue to work with paper , earth pigments and other found objects in this experimental series.”
